Bloz was born in 1969 in Dunkerque and started out making illustrations for motor magazines in 1991, while working in the public sector. He used his experiences as a public servant in the series 'Les Fonctionnaires', of which he is the artist and co-writer at Bamboo publishers since 2001. Contributing writers to this gag series are M'Duc and Béka.

Bloz additionally worked on a couple of short-lived gag series, including 'Les Voisins' (with Béka, Vents d'Ouest, 2005), 'Casting Prod' (with Christian Cazeneuve, Bamboo, 2006), 'Les Zathlètes' (with Giga and Diagana, Bamboo, 2008) and 'Les Carnavaleux' (with Hervé Richez, Bamboo, 2013). He also contributed to Bamboo's humour series 'Les Commerciaux' and 'Les Fondus', and created 'Les Fondus de Moto' with Hervé Richez and Christophe Cazenove in 2009. Together with Arnaud Plumeri, he additionally created 'Les Dinosaures en BD', a series based on recent paleontologic research, for Bamboo in 2010.
