In the 1980's Bob X was a key player in the "ugly art" movement, a style consisting mainly of black and white pen and/or brush work line drawings that were often rough, but at the same time extremely complex and intricate. As the creator of XEX GRAPHIX, he helped lead the movement through his wild graphics and entangled designs.
