Mark Bodé was born in Utica, New York, as was his father, the famous underground comix artist, Vaughn Bodé, who died in 1975. He studied at the Art School in Oakland, California and at the School of Visual Arts in New York, as well as animation and etching at San Francisco State University. He is best known for his work on the comic series 'Cobalt-60' (originally created by his father) and his creation of 'Miami Mice'.
