La Dernière Cigarette
Marc Botta is a graduate of Decorative Arts, who has illustrated several books for a young audience since 1995. This includes educational books for Éditions Nathan, and fiction books for Flammarion. He also works as a press illustrator, and has participated in the background designs for the videogame 'Alone in the Dark 4' (Infogrames Entertainment, 2001). He is active as a draftsman in an architecture studio since 2004. In that same year, the small label La Cafetière released 'La Dernière Cigarette', his first comic book, created with writer Alex Nikolavitch. It tells the story of the political commissar and a German officer, who share a moment of peace while in shelter during a bombing in Kiev in 1943.
