'La Part des Hyènes' (Le Bureau Provisoire, 2019).

Loïc Bouyer is a comic artist who has worked under the pen names Oscar, Loïc Eulchien and LeHoundd. Together with the scriptwriter Angus, he created the comic series 'Les Kids Halloween' (2000-2001). However, he has been mostly active in the indie comics scene of La Rochelle, creating mini comics through his imprint Le Bureau Provisiore.

Early life and career
Loïs Bouyer was born in 1976 in the French harbor city of La Rochelle. In high school, he developed the ambition for creating comics, with a particular fondness for manga. His final year of high school was marked by depression, and he dropped out in May 1993. His introduction to the field of comics wasn't without obstacles either. Still in 1993, he tried to participate in a comics contest held by Fluide Glacial magazine, but didn't complete his submission. It took until the 1996 Angoulême International Comics Festival before Bouyer's interest in creating comics was stirred up again. Following the advice of a friend, he tried to enroll at that city's comics school, the École du Nil, but was rejected. Out of frustration, he turned to the underground comics scene.

Les Kids Halloween
At one point, Bouyer left a couple of his pages at the Atelier Sanzot, an artists' studio in Angoulême. Sanzot's Éric Derian brought him in contact with the scriptwriter Emmanuel Lepage (AKA "Angus", born in 1973), who should not to be confused with the comic artist of the same name: Emmanuel LePage (born in 1966). After working on a test script together in 1997, Angus agreed to write a story with the character of Larry, one of Bouyer's creations from a couple of years earlier. He became one of the main cast members in the humorous children's series 'Les Kids Halloween', about a group of zombie children. In 2000 and 2001, two books were published by Triskel.

Mini comics
Loïc Bouyer returned to the local art scene of La Rochelle, where he has been involved in organizing cultural events like Poids Plume and Dessins Au Jardin de Plop. Under names like Loïc Eulchien and LeHoundd, he has been creating autobiographical DIY fanzines through his imprint Le Bureau Provisiore, several of which are also available on the Grandpapier platform. Among his fully handicrafted titles have been the mini booklet series 'Tâche de Plomb' (2019), the semi-autobiographical adventure series 'Le Z.A.C.' (2019- ) and 'Canis Corpus' (2024).
