'Scampi'. Dutch-language version.
Guy Brasseur was the artist of the comic strip 'Scampi' (1967-1971), scripted by comedian Stéphane Steeman in Tintin magazine. Brasseur additionally cooperated with Dupa and De Groot on two episodes of 'Chlorophylle' in 1976 and 1977. Brasseur was a teacher at the Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe art academy. Among his pupils were Tome, Janry, Bernard Swysen and Stéphane de Becker.
Guy Brasseur should not be confused with Belgian meteorologist Guy Brasseur (b. 1948).
