1+1= Dios, by Christina Breccia

Cristina Breccia inherited her artistic talent from her father, the famous comic artist Alberto Breccia, just like her brother Enrique Breccia and her sister Patricia Breccia. Cristina started her career in 1973, when her work was published in children's magazines Anteojito and Billiken. She specialized in illustrating fairy tales, developing a fantastic, lush graphic style. In 1979 she created her first graphic novel for adults, '1+1=Dios'. She adapted stories by Shakespeare in the early 1980s and came up with the acclaimed 'Sueño de una noche de verano' in 1982. She illustrated numerous titles for the children's collection Biblioteca Billiken, from 1982 until 1993. From 1988, she also contributed to Italian magazine Pimpa.
