'Inspecteur Maigret'.
Frank Brichau is the artist behind the comic series about Georges Simenon's 'Inspector Maigret'. His first album, 'Lucas: La Machination' appeared at Deligne publishers in 1985. Brichau soon found his own style, a mix between realism and the Clear Line. He also cooperated with Loup Durand and André-Paul Duchâteau on the 'TNT' series. Brichau has assisted Tibet on the backgrounds and coloring of 'Ric Hochet' and 'Chick Bill'. He teamed up with writer Odile Reynaud in the early 1990s to produce the 'Maigret' adaptations.
