Alberto Bróccoli is an Argentinian comic strip artist, born in Buenos Aires into a family with Italian origins. He began his collaboration with the magazine Tía Vicenta in 1965, using the pseudonym Histerio. Subsequently, he published in many of the humorous magazines of the period, including Rico Tipo, Semaña Grafica, Mengano and Satiricón. Between 1968 and 1970, he was the caricaturist of the magazine Panorama.

In 1971, he created his comic 'Juan y El Preguntón' for Siete Dias. Bróccoli began 'El Mago Fafa', a parody of Lee Falk and Phil Davis 'Mandrake the Magician', in Clarin in 1973. He additionally worked for the radio and animation projects.
