'Tamara Knight'.

Patrick Brown is an Irish comic artist. Born in Belfast, he began creating self-publishing small press comics in 1994, starting with the serials 'A Virtual Circle'. This was followed by 'Under the Bed', 'Tamara Knight' and 'Guilty as Charged'. He contributed to the 1997 'Superstar Funnies' anthology and to Andrew Luke's small press series 'Bob's'. Since 1999 he is also publishing as a webcomic artist, starting with 'Communication' and a color edition of his detective strip 'Tamara Knight'.

In 2007 Brown began 'The Ulster Cycle', a series of web and print comics set in Iron Age Ireland and based on the cycle of stories of the same name from Irish mythology. After 'Ness', the first cycle, he started the follow-up based on the epic Táin Bó Cúailnge, 'The Cattle Raid of Cooley', in 2008. Along with Andrew Luke, he runs the monthly Black Panel stall, selling small press comics by Irish artists at the Black Box, Hill Street, Belfast.
