Dick Tracy (10 August 2010)
Jim Brozman got his degree in Fine Arts from the Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois. Prior to this, he had already published his first comic, called 'Pablo Picasso: Police Artist'. After graduation, he made his first professional comic stories for the Renegade Press comic book 'Strata'. Brozman worked for many independent comic book companies throughout the 1980s and 1990s, including Now Comics. His credits for his company include 'Rust', 'The Terminator', 'Speed Racer', 'Racer-X', 'The Real Ghostbusters', 'Slimer' and 'The Green Hornet'.
Since the 2000s he has worked on the retail side of the comic book industry, managing stores for Graham Cracker Comics in the Chicagoland area. He continued to do an occasional comic story, such as the give-away comic 'Naperville's Finest' with Josh Warner for the Naperville Sun. Throughout the years, Brozman has worked as an inker for such artists as Patrick Zircher, Phil Hester, Norm Dwyer, Tony Akins, Chris Ecker and Steve Kurth. He drew the 'Dick Tracy' strip for Tribune Media Services from scripts by Dick Locher from March 2009 to March 2011.
