Bus was a Belgian illustrator and cartoonist. He made illustrations for several children's books by Gerard Walschap, that were published by Van Tilborg & Kenens, such as 'Zotje Petotje' (1941), 'Gansje Kwak dat thuis opstak' (1942) and 'Slimke Gazelle' (1943). He also illustrated for Heideland in Hasselt, and was a local contributor to Wonderland, the children's supplement of De Dag, together with Willy Vandersteen. Bus made illustrations, puzzles and comic strips like 'De Familie Trullemans' (1940) and 'Snuifmans en Knul' (1942).
