Caco was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 1958. He studied journalism and became a designer. He published his comics in several Brazilian magazines, such as Animal and Lúcifer. He created the comic 'Bispo de Rosário', about the famous Brazilian artist Bispo de Rosário.
