David Cantero Berenguer was born in 1972 in Cartagena, Spain. He finished his studies at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Liège, Belgium, in 1996. He works as an illustrator, comic book author, 2D and 3D cartoon animator, character and background designer and concept artist for video games. Among his commercial clients are Matinée Group, Renault, Inditex, ES Collection, XTG, Lenita and IMC Toys. His game credits include Klicrainbow's 'Supergay & the attack of his ex-girlfriends' and 'The Cunitoons'. He has also made comic books based on 'The Cunitoons'.
His work has appeared in magazines such as ZERO, NOIS, Instinct Magazine, Nuevo Vale, Pronto, Spirou Magazine and Männer Aktuell. He has made comic stories for the magazine Claro Que Si! by La Cùpula Editorial in Barcelona, and provided art to the AlphaBlue comic book 'The Cavemen'. He has self-published several comic books through his own Cantero Editorial between 2005 and 2010. He is specialized in gay erotic comics, made for publishers like Bruno Gmünder in Germany and Class Comics in Canada. Among the Class Comics titles he worked for are 'Ghostboy & Diablo', 'Space Cadet', 'Alex in Bonerland', 'Sleeping Bear' and 'Deimos: Tales of the Taro Demon'.
