Albert Carreres is a Spanish artist who has worked for publishing houses from Spain, France, and the USA. Born in Girona, he received his education at the Joso Comics School in Barcelona from 2000 on. His first professional comics work was 'Hand 7', a soccer comic published by Les Humanoïdes Associés in 2007.

His work for the French market has remained in the soccer genre. 'Banc de Touche' was written by Edmond Tourriol and Daniel Fernandes, and published in the newspaper L'Équipe during the 2010 FIFA World Cup. KantiK eventually published three books of the series. Then came 'Zlatan Style' for Hugo BD in 2013, the manga-oriented 'L'Équipe Z' for Kotoji in 2016, and 'Urban Rivals', based on the online video game.
