'Alzéor Mondraggo'.
David Caryn is the son of comic artist Francis Carin. He attended the École Supérieure des Arts Saint-Luc in Liège, and graduated in 1998. He finished his studies in fine arts in Liège in 1998. His first comic album, 'Le Tournoi Maudit', was published the same year by Les Éditions du Musée. He then created the heroic fantasy series 'Alzéor Mondraggo' with scripts by Makyo for Vents d'Ouest between 2001 and 2004. Caryn worked with his father on the backgrounds of the 19th 'Victor Sackville' album, and on the historical series 'Ennemis de Sang' for Glénat Caractère from 2014 on. He participated in collective comic books about Édith Piaf, Walloon folklore and the first World War.
