Yuan-tu Chen was the artist on 'Mistress Clever', an illustrated folk tale, published in 1954. The booklet was a supplement to China Reconstructs, and translated by Sidney Shapiro. The text was by Hsiung Sai-sheng and Yu Chin. The story tells about the clever wife of farmer Chuang.
