Augusto Chizzoli was a comic artist and painter from Gavardo. He was an artist for several pocket comic books published by Ediperiodizi in the 1970s and 1980s, such as 'Verità Segrete', 'Corna Vissute', 'Storie Blu', 'Storie Blu Special' and 'Terror Blu'. He also drew a few stories for Edifumetto's erotic prison series 'Sbarre', and he contributed to the tabloid-sized comics paper Quelli Della Lega in 1991-92. Chizzoli drew the original nine issues of the paranormal detective series 'Dick Drago' from scripts by Giovanni Mandelli for the Roman publisher Fenix in 1994.
