'Double Assassinat Dans La Rue Morgue'.

Claude Voirriot is a self-taught comic artist. He works under the pen name Clod and has published his first book, 'La Tonne' with Amicale des amis in 1997 (script by Serge Guerinet). He draws his inspiration from literary writers like Franz Kafka, whose 'Le Procès' he has also adapted to the comics format with Céka (Akileos, 2006). With Céka, he has subsequently made the Edgar Allan Poe adaptation 'Double Assassinat Dans La Rue Morgue' (Akileos, 2007)

For Petit à Petit, he has participated in collective books with comic adaptations of poems and song texts by Jacques Prévert, Charles Baudelaire, Paul Verlaine, Guy de Maupassant, Serge Gainsbourg and Arthur Rimbaud, among other writers. With Benoît Frébourg, he has made 'Les Carnets de Georg Weiss', also for Petit à Petit.

He should not be confused with Italian artist Claudio Onesti (°1949), who also uses the pseudonym Clod.
