Bob Condron was born in 1968 in Chicago and raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1990 with a bachelor of arts degree in political science and a minor in art. After working as a customer service representative for a few years, he stumbled into the human services field while living in New Mexico. He continued to work as a coach for people with disabilities after settling in Virginia.
He was an editorial cartoonist with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and has since freelanced for publications like the Las Cruces Sun-News, The Santa Fe New Mexican and the Lancaster Intelligencer Journal. His gag cartoons have also appeared in The New Breed, Technical Analysis of Stocks & Commodities, The Door Magazine, Medical Economics and Chesapeake Bay Magazine. In 2004, he was hired by King Features to draw 'Todd the Dinosaur', a gag comic about a seven-year-old T-Rex who attends second grade, created and written by Patrick Roberts. He drew the strip for a couple of years.
