'Castello'. 

Born in Quebec, André-Philippe Côté entered the Quebec comic scene in 1972 with publications in Plouf and Patrimoine. He specialized in illustrations, fantasy paintings and science fiction comics. From 1984 on, he focused on a juvenile public and created the series 'Les Aventures de Bédébulle' in Le Soleil. He created his most famous character, the vagabond 'Baptiste', in Safarir. This comic was later on continued in Le Soleil. In addition to 'Baptiste', Côté produced 'Castello', an album dedicated to the painter Giorgio di Chirico. He wrote the script of 'La Voyante' for Jean-François Bergeron (Djief), and became a caricaturist at Le Soleil. In 1998, he drew the album 'Victor et Rivière', an homage to Arthur Rimbaud and Paul Verlaine, at Éditions Soulières.
