Florent Couao-Zotti, born in the African country of Benin, studied modern literature at the National University of Benin. He has written several short novels, published in magazines like Revue Noire and Le Serpent à Plumes. Together with comic artist Hector Sonon, he worked on the story of Adéfèmi, which appeared in the intercultural magazine Inter Faces.
