'Meester'.
Danie Cronje is a South African artist. He has been a teacher since 1979 and his comics are based on true incidents during his career. His first cartoon was published in the family magazine Die Huisgenoot. He went on to draw cartoons for his town's local newspaper. While at university, he drew cartoons for various university publications. His 'SIR' ('Meester') cartoons were published in newspaper Die Volksblad for 4 years since 1987. In 2000, he turned to the internet to share the humour in his classroom with the outside world.
