Natalie d'Arbeloff was born in Paris, to a Russian father and a French mother. She was raised in South America, USA and Europe. Much traveled, she settled in London in the mid-1960s. She is a painter/bookartist/writer/comic artist whose work has been exhibited internationally and is in many public collections including the Rijksmuseum Meermanno-Westreenianum, the Hague (where a major exhibition of her artists' books was held in 1992), the National Art Library of the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Library of Congress in Washington D.C.
Natalie d'Arbeloff created the comic characters Augustine and Gabriel. In the 'Augustine' series, ten mini-comics have appeared. Augustine has her own 'blog' on Natalie's website.
