Ed da Silva Rodrigues was born in Campo Belo, Minas Gerais. In 1987, he began publishing in Pasquim y Pasquim São Paulo, and in Estado de Minas with the panel 'Old Fashioned's Club'. In that same year, he became a regular contributor to the Brazilian edition of MAD. In 1988, he drew the 'Verminose' panel in the early issues of Hoje em Dia in Belo Horizonte. He has contributed to several publications like Chiclete com Banana, Bundas, Graffiti, Clube, EGM Brasil, Play, Super Interessante, SET, Recreiro and Macmania. He has illustrated children's books and done animations for websites. He is illustrator and cartoonist for the magazine Estado de Minas.
