Max Day was the pseudonym of Max David, a comic artist and animator from Liège. He worked for the French animation studios of André Rigal, and worked as a comic artist in the second half of the 1940s. For magazine Hello! he created 'Les Aventures extraordinaires d'Hurry Got!' in 1944-1945. He was also art editor for this short-lived magazine from late 1944, before moving over to Grand Coeur (1945-1947) and Wrill (1945-1949). Among his comics published in Wrill were 'Jim Spitfire', 'Tommy Time', 'Jo Bart' and 'Marius Jolivent'.
