The self-taught artist Santos de Veracruz had several professions, while at the same time, he did illustration work. Born in Barcelona in 1975, he was an artist of El Punalito, one of Spain's best known fanzines. He made his comics debut with 'Flamenco', scripted by Jorge Zentner at the publishing house Casterman in 2002.
