Bia by Lucio de Giuseppe

Lucio De Giuseppe is an artist from Genoa, who was affiliated with the Italian art studio Staff di IF of Gianni Bono in the 1970s and 1980s. The studio was largely responsible for producing licensed comic stories based on cartoon and toy franchises. De Giuseppe drew for comic books related to the anime series 'Anne of Green Gables' ('Anna dai Capelli Rossi'), 'Majokko Megu-chan' ('Bia') and 'Arabian Nights: Sinbad's Adventures' ('Shirab').

De Giuseppe's art also appeared in Collana Telefumetto, a magazine with stories starring 'Capitan Sherlock', 'Heidi', 'Golzinga' and Hector Malot's 'Remy', and on the covers of the Italian Disney publications. With writer Daniela Padoan, he also produced 'Il Grande Libro degli Snorky', based on the Hanna-Barbera cartoon series. He has also done commercial artwork.
