Born in Brussels, Serge Dehaes studied graphics and painting. He became an illustrator for the press and children's books. He became the colorist of the series 'Le Chat' by Philippe Geluck in 1992. In 2004, he started the gag strip 'Manager: Mode d'Emploi' in the magazine Spirou.
