Beniamino Delvecchio was born in 1969 in Milan and in 1992 he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Brera with a thesis on comics. He has been working as a professional graphic designer and illustrator since 1995. He has drawn 'Bad Moon' for Xenia Edizion, 'Zona X' for Bonelli, 'Lararus Ledd' for Star Comics, and was an artist of 'Diabolik' for Astorina for six years.
In 2004, Delvecchio started his western mini-series in direct colors 'Tokae' as an allround author. Between 2004 and 2010, he has also drawn the western series 'Than Dai' for publisher Salvatore Taormina, the medieval comedy 'Anno Domini' for the Scuola del Fumetto, a story with 'Sadik' with Nino Cannata for the publishing house Kassandra, and a 'Kinowa' story for Mercury.
Since 2010, he has been working more regularly with Star Comics as an inker for the mini-series 'Pinkerton S.A.', and issues of 'The Secret' and 'Nox', and pencils and ink on issues of 'Dr Morgue' and 'Nuvole Nere'. Delvecchio self-published the first book of his series 'Swap' in 2012. He has worked with writers Rita Porretto and Silvia Mericone on the series 'Dogma' from 2010. Star Comics released his graphic novel 'Medhelan' in 2014.
