Hrabriat Eskimos
Aleksandar Denkov was born in Prague, Czech Republic. Although he only became 47 years old, his style was a big influence on Bulgarian comics. He began his career at the age of 17, publishing his work in the magazine Chuden Sviat.
Zagovor v dvoreca
Some of his comics were 'Hrabriat eskimos' (in Chuden Sviat), 'Zagovor v dvoreca' (script by Zmei Gorianin in Iliustrativno Chetivo) and 'Ban Ianuka'. Denkov studied painting, but eventually specialized in applied engraving. He is the creator of the first Bulgarian animated film, 'Little Thief', in 1945.
