Abby Denson was born in Illinois and grew up in West Hartford, Connecticut. She is the creator of 'Dolltopia', a series of graphic novels which has won her several awards, including a Lulu Award. She also made 'Tough Love: High School Confidential', which appeared in XY Magazine. She has scripted comics for Amazing Spider-Man Family, Powerpuff Girls Comics, Simpsons Comics, Sabrina The Teenage Witch, Josie and the Pussycats, Disney Adventures, and comics for Nickelodeon Magazine.
Her other creations include 'Deadsy Cat & Kissy Kitty', 'Jamie Starr Teen Drag Queen' and 'Night Club'. 'The City Sweet Tooth', her blog/comic about NY desserts ran in The L Magazine. She also has done several comics for Lady Churchill's Rosebud Wristlet and gURL.com. She has taught Comic Book Storytelling at Eugene Lang College at The New School.
