Patrick Deubelbeiss started his comics career in 1987 by taking over the artwork of 'Ergün l'Errant' from Didier Comès. With the scenarist of 'Ergün', Benoît Peeters, he also produced 'Le Transpatagonien' in 1989. While having a career as an illustrator on the side, Patrick Deubelbeiss teamed up with Anne Parot to create 'Monde Perdu', a comics adaptation of the work of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. He has also worked for the Cascade collection of Ragot publishers.
