Joachim Diaz has a commercial education, but eventually gave his career a more artistic direction. He was a member of the atelier Gottferdom, where he made two short stories with the character 'Jerry Mail' and humorous strips of 'Captain Perfect' for the magazine Lanfeust Mag. In 2000, he created the first album of 'Jerry Mail' at Soleil Productions. Albums of 'Captain Perfect' appear since 2003.
