Downstown by Tim Downs

Tim Downs in an American and novelist from Cary, North Carolina. While attending Indiana University, he created the comic strip 'Downstown'. It ran in several college newspapers between 1974 and 1979 and was subsequently picked up for syndication by Universal Press Syndicate in 1980. Downs drew the strip until 1986, and then self-published a retrospective collection in 1989. Downs is best-known as the writer of the 'Bug Man' series of novels, of which the first installment appeared in 2003. He has furthermore authored novels like 'Plague Maker' (2006), 'Head Game' (2007) and 'Wonders Never Cease' (2010), as well as several books on Christian relationships and communications.
