Cristina Durán was born in 1970 in Valencia in 1970. She studied at the Faculty of Fine Art in SanCarlos and the Polytechnical University of Valencia. In 1993, she was an exchange student at the University of Middlesex, London, England. She became an animator, illustrator and comic artist, co-founding the studio Grua Gràfics. Her comics have been published in magazines such as Kovalsky Fly, Napartheid and Como Vacas Mirando el Tren.
