'Peter Piltdown'. French-language version.
Mal Eaton was the artist of the stone age comic strip 'Peter Piltdown'. The strip debuted as a Sunday page on 4 August 1935 and was distributed through Miller Services. Between 1947 and 1948, it was briefly continued under the title 'Pookie' as a filler strip for Eaton's new comic 'Tizzy' in the New York Herald-Tribune. The strip returned as 'Rocky Stoneaxe' in the comics section of Boys' Life magazine a couple of years later until the 1970s.
