The artist who signed with Evariste was present in French magazines like Pierrot in the 1940s and Ames Vaillantes in the 1950s. In Pierrot, he drew the adventures of 'César Fierabras et Mr Petipeu', and in Ames Vaillantes he illustrated fairy tales starring talking animals.
