Clément C. Fabre was an assistant-cameraman in the movie industry for seven years before he turned to comics. He became a blogger, and participated several times in 24 Hours Comics. He likes working with several scriptwriters, so that he can work on varying projects. With novelist Martin Page, he made 'Le Banc de Touche', a collection of bittersweet humorous comic strips (Vraoum!, 2012). With Olivier Milhaud, he made his second comic book, 'Explicite, Carnet de Tournage' (Delcourt, 2015), a "making of" of a soft porn movie. His comic book 'Salade Tomate Oignon' (Vide Cocagne, 2015), made with Joseph Safieddine, is a collection of short stories based on banal situations and human stupidity. The humour is a mix between Daniel Goossens, Ricky Gervais, François Damiens, Riad Sattouf and Woody Allen.
Fabre is the author of the children's book 'Le Mystère des Papas' (Gallimard Jeunesse, 2016), that deals with friendship and the transition between generations. A fan of garage rock, Clément Fabre also plays in the band Hoochie Koochie Baby, for which he has also directed several music videos.
He should not be confused with French football player Clement Fabre (°1989).
