Born in Genova, Enrico Faccini started out drawing for Italian comic publications in the late 1980s. A part-time cartoonist, he has a daytime job as a technician. He entered the field by presenting his comic version of Edgar Alan Poe's 'The Black Cat' to several publishers. He joined the production of Disney comics after meeting Carlo Chendi and Giovan Battista Carpi. He assisted Romano Scarpa on a couple of stories, before he began his own production. Faccini mainly drew stories with the Ducks, such as Donald, Scrooge or Fethry. However, he has also produced some 'Mickey Mouse' stories.
