Bob Fingerman was born in Queens, New York. He works as a freelance illustrator, cartoonist and writer for a wide variety of publications and publishers. His work has appeared in The Village Voice and Heavy Metal, as well as several porn magazines. Since 1990, he has worked in comics fulltime. He has drawn for Marvel, Archie and DC, as well as several titles for Fantagraphics Books, including 'Skinheads in Love', 'Finger Filth', 'Minimum Wage' and 'Beg the Question'. He has also worked frequently for Dark Horse, producing the micro-series 'Otis Goes Hollywood' and the critically acclaimed mini-series 'White Like She'. In addition, Fingerman wrote such diverse material as 'Tex Avery's Screwball Squirrel' and the 'Zombie World' mini-series called 'Winter's Dregs'.
