Nick Firfires was an artist for Dell comics from 1947 to 1958. He did various painted covers, as well as several of the realistic Disney titles ('James Bowie', 'John Colter', 'Kit Carson', etc). His other credits include 'Dale Evans', 'Gene Autry', 'Range Rider', and 'Wagon Train'.
