'I Was Seven in '75'.
Ellen Forney is probably most famous for creating the comic strip 'I Was Seven In '75', chronicling the ins and outs of growing up in a left-wing progressive family in the 1970s. It ran in Seattle's popular alternative newsweekly, The Stranger. The sequel to this autobiographical comic is called 'Monkeyfood'.
Ellen Forney was an influence on Betje Ton.
