Little is known about the Belgian comic artist C. Franchi. He was the author of the animal strip 'Zozo', about the monkey Zozo and his human companion Croquefer. The strip appeared in an obscure children's paper of Liège, Le Journal de Francette et Riquet, from 1935. It was also published in the Quebec newspaper Le Soleil. However, it got a wider audience through the several reprints in books by the Touret publishers in Paris.
