Peter Fuchs was a German cartoonist, comic artist and satirist, who published under the name Fuchsi. He graduated from the Berlin School of Arts in 1981 with the comic 'Adalbert Abhängig' and subsequently became one of the best-known cartoonists for the leftwing alternative scene, as well as the daily paper taz (Die Tageszeitung). Fuchsi's main character was a modernized version of 'Zorro'. Peter Fuchs has drawn for many magazines and book publishers, and by the end of his life, he was also active as a painter.
