Flash Foley, by Paul Fung Jr.

Paul Fung Jr. is the son of Paul Fung, the artist who took over Chic Young's 'Dumb Dora' comic. Born in Seattle, Washington, Fung Jr. graduated from the Pratt Institute and began his career working in vaudeville and performing in movie shorts and radio kids shows. After World War II, he went to work in advertising before beginning an 18 year association with King Features Syndicate's special service department. Just like his father, Fung Jr. also worked with Chic Young as his assistant on 'Blondie' from 1949 to 1964. He drew for the 'Blondie' comic book for a period of 40 years and also created his own strip 'Flash Foley' for the book.
