Daniel Galantz was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, in 1974, and his family moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina three years later. He attended the Panamerican School of Art, where he studied graphic design. Influenced mainly by Quino, he turned to cartooning, while also doing freelance illustration work. He makes sports cartoons for Grip magazines, that have been collected in the book 'Tenis Ilustrado'. Galantz' comic strip 'Pequeñas Bestias' ('Small animals') is published on several blogs and in the magazine Axxon.
