Antonio Garcia Bartholomé is a Spanish artist of mainly historical and adventure comics. He began his career at the publishing house Bruguera in the mid-1950s. Among his early comics were 'La Familia Poony' and 'El Capitán Tormenta' in La Risa, and contributions to Pulgarcito and the collection 'Historias'. He has worked extensively for the foreign market through agencies. He has drawn 'Morgyn the Mighty' in the British comic The Wizard, 'Madame Atomos' for the French publisher Arédit, and horror stories for Bastei Verlag in Germany (Gespenster Geschichten).
