American cartoonist Charlos Gary was born in 1968 in Boynton Beach and raised in Orlando, Florida into an African-American family. He received his artistic education at the Ohio State University and the University of Toledo. Upon graduation, he began working as a graphic designer for newspapers. He also made political cartoons. He created his bussiness-themed cartoon 'Working It Out' for the Chicago Tribune in 2001. He made another strip called 'Café Con Leche' from April 2007 to November 2014. Both his strips have been syndicated to newspaper through Creators Syndicate.
