Gaston is the author of several humorous books at the publishing houses Vents d'Ouest and Albin Michel. At Vents d'Ouest, he has cooperated with Jim on several albums since the mid-1990s, such as 'On Eteint la Lumiere On Se Dit Tout', 'La Honte', 'Toi + Moi', and 'T'As Vu ta Tronche'. Gaston has written several albums in the series 'Guides en BD', and he has created the small books 'Comment Devenir Sympa en 10 Leçons', 'Statistiques Sans Pitie' and 'Pour où Contre le Boulot'. At Albin Michel, he has created 'C'est L'An 2000' (1999) and 'Et Vogue La Galère L'Art de Survivre au Jour le Jour' (2001).
